Summary: This game would be good for people who really know how to play poker or need to learn how to play poker, and just a heads up, I would fold a lot on this game, because usually whille you have a sucky hand everybody else has a good hand.
Ehhhhh ... if you are not an avid poker player, this might be fun.

Summary: The game play is just much too slow and repetitive, and really there is no inclination to play if it is not for real money. There is not much replay appeal, and the story mode is weak. The AI is alright, but if you like playing poker, don't play this game, since it will only cause you to hate the game.
Summary: Just like any video game if you play this one long enough it all becomes predictable, oh and the cpu makes some plays that the pro's they are portraying burn this game in eulogy, and you please kill the person that put the stupid sneeze in the game. Over all the game is enjoyable for us Holdem lovers and it passes the time. Better than Ms.
Summary: If you want a realistic poker game, wait for "Stacked" to come out next month. WSOP is fun, but hardly realistic. Your not going to get to a final table at the WSOP only sitting through 100 hands or so. But like I said, once you learn the AI's nuances, it is fun enough to tide you over until a real poker game comes out.
Summary: The game itself is difficult, and if you want realistic difficult poker this is the game. There is no way to skip through the tournaments and they usually take like 1-2 hours to complete. The PSP game doesnt offer much customization as I hoped. And once you beat the one tournament (the main event) you basically are done. I played the main event and placed 130 in it, In order to compete in it again I had to create a new profile and new person.
Summary: Like a lot of other people I wanted a Poker game for the PSP. WPT is a recognised name in the poker world, so I decided to give it a whirl. I have to say the game its self is good. The issue I take with it is the lengthy loading times. It seems as though you have to wait for what feels like hours for it to load the actually game. Once in game if a player gets knocked out and a player is moved to your table again a bit of delay until you get going again.
Excerpt: "...not lose money - well World Series of Poker on the Sony PSP it probably for you. The game includes several different types of poker including Texas Hold-Em and Ohio. You can play against top computer controlled players and work your way through various World Series championships. The AI is pretty good and you feel like you are gambling with real people. Graphics - the graphics are ok - all the characters and tables are well modelled and look good ...
Pros: Poker on PSP, proper global wi - fi multiplayer
