Summary: This was a gift for my 6yr old, one of his starter PSP 3000 games. Unfortunately, he hasn't played it much, saying it is too difficult. Even his 10yr old, video game savant, brother concurred. Guess I blew that one. The 1 start may me more of a comment on me and not the game. Balance my comments by older player's thoughts for better analysis.
Summary: This is a good hovercraft racing game and stays true to its predecessors. Will keep you busy, entertained, and possibly frustrated at times (due to its difficulty that steadily ramps up), but all in a good way!
Summary: I was origionaly not going to buy this game, but one of the games went down by 4.99$, so I bought this basicly as an add-on, turns out that it was the best game I got on my PSP so far. Wipeout: Pure is a very fast paced racing futureistic game with a great soundtrack, 8 diferent crafts (all handling VERY differently!
Summary: I really like racing games, but only particular kinds. I'm not big on the realistic ones like Gran Tourismo. Nothing wrong with them, they're just not my bag. Mario Kart and Burnout. Those are the two titles that first come to mind. I like stuff that's different, that has cool cars and items and just an indescribable sense of "Yeah, I like this." Wipeout Pure is not the first in the series. The N64 one is pretty cool. But this is first one that I've really gotten into.
