Excerpt: You won’t need your brain but you will certainly need some plasters to cover up those sore finger blisters after hammering the button as if it were your worst enemy. Yes, as you might have already guessed, the Warriors are back yet again, and for those who aren’t familiar with previous releases of this great fan service, Warriors Orochi combines the forces of both Dynasty and Samurai Warriors in a very silly story that explains how this coming together has become...
Conclusion: Warriors Orochi has some shortcomings, but to be fair I am imposing my personal preference on what the game should, or could be. But it's not totally my fault for thinking this. Conclusion: Overall, Warriors Orochi is a simple Playstation 2 port for the PC. It doesn't stack up against PC games 4-5 years ago in nearly every category. Excerpt: Koei has finally gone and done it. For the first time two of its mammoth franchises – Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors – have come together in Warriors Orochi for a game that's suitably epic in scope. Without any kind of warning, the evil Serpent King Orochi has descended from the skies. Not only is he unannounced, he's shattered time and space. Damned inconsiderate, really.
Summary: Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors will finally meet this fall in an unforgettable crossover event. In Warriors Orochi, the characters from both franchises must team up to wage war against a new, powerful force.
