Virtua Tennis 3 Review

VideoGamer.com
7 December 2007
  • Excerpt: Usually, if a new game is almost identical to another product of the same name that is already available, there is just cause to hold back on the acclaim you direct towards it. However, when that new game is on a handheld and is bearing the weight of comparison to a title on a brand new next-generation console, high praise is indeed needed. Which brings us to Virtua Tennis 3 on the PSP, released only days after the PS3 and 360 versions.

  • Excerpt: To me, tennis games have come and gone. I've played them all, and few have captured my attention like Sega's Virtua Tennis. Along with Crazy Taxi, it was the other reason why I wanted a Dreamcast in the first place (yes, Soul Calibur didn't interest me that much). Immediate four-player access brought on the good times, and the single-player was absolutely addictive. At the time, Virtua Tennis may have been the most addictive title next to Tony Hawk.

Virtua Tennis 3

GameTrailers

  • Excerpt: Every Virtua day is a good day for Virtua tennis. The courts are always in prime condition, the balls never lose their bounce, and you never break a sweat. Some expensive equipment is required… you’ll need a next-gen console and a copy of the game, but Virtua Tennis 3 gives a solid performance across the board as long as you expect crisp, accessible video game tennis with a great multiplayer component.

Virtua Tennis 3 Review (PSP)

  • Excerpt: Ace!!!!!!!!! Being a huge fan of tennis, I was eagerly awaiting getting my hands on Sega’s Virtua Tennis 3 and after spending some quality time with the game I was not left disappointed. Virtua Tennis 3 is a great game. It gradually introduces you to the basics of tennis through a series of mini games. When you begin the career mode you get to customize your own tennis player and begin your quest to glory.
  • Pros: Mini games are fun, career mode has seen some nice improvements, great soundtrack
  • Cons: some wierd graphical glitches, volleys and lobs are pretty much worthless, very similar to the previous game.

“Ook leuk op een handheld?”

evilgamerz.nl
6 September 2013

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heroes ...

GamingMedia.de
29 May 2010
