Valhalla Knights

Digital Chumps
26 May 2008
  • Conclusion: Valhalla Knights becomes the latest title to fail at delivering a defining PSP RPG experience. It's nostalgia in a modern box, and not even good nostalgia. It's like the DS Final Fantasy III remake was on the drawing board, but somehow they went through some time portal and cranked out something of Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest caliber. The design is competent and the execution is at least half right, but it's lacking any true sense of adventure or, more importantly, fun.

Valhalla Knights review (PSP)

HonestGamers
24 October 2007
  • Excerpt: makes a lot of assumptions. It assumes you already know that the character you're hired to escort through evil-heavy lands is automatically in your group, despite the game never telling you so and the character only ever showing up once said quest is completed.

Valhalla Knights review (PSP)

HonestGamers
17 June 2007
  • Excerpt: is a game designed to sell X copies to X gamers for (X*Y) dollars. You could say that about anything, but most games have something more. Something catchy.

PSP Review - 'Valhalla Knights'

WorthPlaying
30 May 2007
  • Summary: After years of fierce fighting, the Dark Lord was sealed away by the hands of the hero, Rastul. But from the blood of the demons, the land had been cursed and the sky lost its light. The cursed land entrapped the people, making every waking moment feel like an eternity.

Expert Review

PlayFrance
4 January 2008
  • Cons: Beaucoup trop difficile, Peu innovant, Une réalisation moyenne
