In the rather large and varied library of PSP games, I have come across a rather unusual sleeper of a title. Its an Action RPG made by Marvelous Interactive called Valhalla Knights. Read more

A place that was forgotten from history, where humans, elves, dwarfs, halflings and other various races lived together in harmony it was a paradise, surrounded by deep green forests and crystal clear streams. However, the roar of the demons tore apart their peaceful lives. It was the return of the Dark Lord, the previous ruler of the land, which sparked a new round of battles which would eventually encompass all the races. After years of fierce fighting, the Dark Lord... Read more

It's difficult to see Valhalla Knight appealing to anyone in all honesty. Sure the combat is middling but without a quality storyline and dungeons that are at times tedious and at others frustrating, it's not a game that's going to encourage you to keep playing. With only one copy of the game at hand, and support for... Read more

Valhalla Knights puts a refreshing twist on a genre that is very overdone on this platform. With the amount of customization that can be done on characters, it is worth looking into. The game would be much better if they added combos into the combat system and allowed for blocking. If you are a fan of the dungeon crawler, rent this one before you buy it. If you like the combat system, players will find this game enjoyable. Read more

Am I swimming too hard against the tide to be so ticked off at the endless flow of tired story and gameplay concepts that make up this forgettable adventure? We’re going to keep seeing amnesiac heroes fighting endless experience-grind battles in lifeless fantasy worlds no matter what I say here. But I’m still going to do my part and tell you that this is not worth your time. There are so many great role-playing titles out there these days, this terrible one should... Read more
