Excerpt: UFC Undisputed 2010 hit the console scene a few months ago to receive much praise from UFC fans and video game critics alike. The vast amount of fighting moves, excellent presentation and sheer amount of gameplay options were obvious reasons why it has been doing so well. Four months later, a port of the console version has hit the Playstation Portable from developer Yukes Media Creations.
Excerpt: UFC Undisputed 2010 on home consoles is the best source for MMA gaming on the market right now. I was very pleased with it, as evident in my review back in May . Portable gaming was MMA-less for a time, but now THQ has moved their highly-acclaimed franchise to the PSP, bringing the pain to the gaming-on-the-go crowd. They’ve certainly crammed everything they could into the game, but unfortunately (and understandably) the game loses some of its magic in the transition.
Summary: While UFC may not be my thing, I had a lot of fun in UFC Undisputed 2010. The game sports great controls, a fantastic presentation and more fighters than I know what to do with. Best of all, the game delivers when it comes to deep game modes that will keep the action fresh for months to come. It may not make me a UFC fanatic, but I had a great time with Undisputed 2010!
