Summary: Tony Hawk's Underground 2 for the home consoles were really good Tony Hawk games because they were just a whole lot different from the rest of the games in the series; really unique and strange. Here is my review for THUG2 Remix for the PSP. This game is a lot like the console versions, but there are a few things different about this game. First, the character customization is a little bit better because there is more choices for items to put on your character.
Summary: It's not what I expected, but I'm not a skateboarder. So, I just play this game to feel like one. Although, it's a game that I am getting used to. I have the one in PS2, and it's fun to skate on rails, rooftops, powerlines, etc. Too bad can't do that in the real world. The first Tony Hawk: Underground was okay and I got that one too. I'm not far from the level that I'm on either one of them.
Summary: Brilliant game for the PSP. Whether you like skateboarding or not, it totally sucks you in. The only problem is the difficult controls on the PSP but other than that, it's an awesome game that can keep you busy for hours (don't know if that's a good thing or bad!). Highly recommended.
Excerpt: "...There is all the usual Tony Hawk extras except for the level editor! You still get the multiplayer modes and you will also be able to create you own goals, skater, board and spraying logo. The wireless multiplayer is great and you will have loads of fun playing with any friends who also have the game. Some of the multiplayer games include: High score, horse, tagging and many more. One of the great features of the game is the create modes. Using ...
Pros: Tony hawks portable ! , Good as other tony hawks games, Cheap !
Conclusion: I had another Tony Hawks game and I wanted one on PSP and I bought this game for about £8 which I thought was a reasonable price. I liked the storyline because it was funny and exciting to play. At times this game can be challenging but after a few attempts the challenge becomes easy. The graphics are quite good considering its a small portable console. The soundtrack has songs you may not of heard of but you'll come to like them.
Summary: What a game! If you've played THUG2 on the Playstation 2 then you will finish this in two to three days. An outsider to the Tony Hawks will finish it in seven to fourteen days. But you will feel like you must complete it on "Normal" and "Sick" and then comes Classic Mode. Lost a * for unoriganaity. (Apart from new levels which are kick butt!
Summary: At first sight this seems like a port of the PS2 game - doesn't bother me as I didn't get that one. However, there are new levels, and for the reasons I outline below, I think if you've got a PSP and love Tony Hawks' games there are plenty of reasons to buy this as well as the PS2 version. The peerless graphics, animation and soundtrack will be familiar territory to anyone who has ever played a Tony Hawks game.
