Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Fragland
7 June 2012
  • Excerpt: After a couple of horrible titles that didn’t do the image of Lara Croft any good (Angel of Darkness, ugh) there suddenly was Tomb Raider: Legend. Things suddenly looked a lot better for our busty Indiana Jones and now we get Tomb Raider: Anniversary to celebrate her comeback.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary PSP Review

Console Obsession
30 May 2010
  • Excerpt: Tomb Raider ain’t all about the boobs. You know this, I know this, any gamer worth his salt knows this. Ignore the pixellated buttocks and painfully tight shorts- Tomb Raider is about those breathless few seconds as you leap into the dark air, praying that the ledge you stretch out your fingers for...

Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Playstation Illustrated
18 August 2008
  • Excerpt: Tomb Raider Anniversary is a very appropriate title for this game to my reckoning. It was just ten years ago that I purchased my first game system and booted up a game. Of course, it was Tomb Raider .

Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Auracore MediaWorks
20 February 2008
  • Summary: Lara's latest adventure makes the transition to the Xbox 360, with minimal improvements.
  • Pros: Enormous and vast tombs to explore that feature challenging and devious level design; mostly solid controls; the physics, and audio are all top notch; not a whole lot is new for the 360 version.
  • Cons: Solutions for puzzles don't always work on the first try, resulting in lots of meaningless running around; combat serves mostly as filler; missing some key features that appeared in Tomb Raider: Legend; graphical improvements over the PS2 version are minimal.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary

Auracore MediaWorks
1 February 2008
  • Summary: Lara comes to the Wii and loses something in the conversion.
  • Pros: Enormous and vast tombs to explore that feature challenging and devious level design; the physics, animation, and audio are all top notch; some neat Wii-exclusive features.
  • Cons: Wii-controls are inferior to a trusty controller for this one; solutions for puzzles don't always work on the first try, resulting in lots of meaningless running around; combat has gone from filler to outright annoying in this version; graphics are generally worse than the PS2 version.
