Toca Race Driver 2

Conclusion: WOW!! After renting Ridge Racer, I fancied a more realistic racing game, so this game was next on the list. I wanted realistic- I got it! When there is sand either side of the track it is so nerve-racking as one tyre off the track and you go spinning.
Conclusion: Toca Race Driver 2 is a GREAT racing sim, the damage models are AMAZING for the PSP (i new it was a great machine, but this is just unbelivable). Better than Gran Turismo PSP? Only time will tell!
Summary: Since this was the first (and as yet, only) game I've bought for my PSP, it's been getting quite a hammering. The relatively short championships and auto-save function make it perfect for the 'pick up - put down' gaming that the PSP was designed for and the huge variety of cars and tracks mean it...
Summary: One of manay launch games for the PSP. TOCA 2 has not had as much publicity as Ridge Racer or Wipeout. This is a shame as it is an excellent racer with loads of real-life tracks, real racing modes (e.g. Truck Racing and Formula Ford as well as Touring Cars).
Summary: Possitive Points: Realistic looking cars and tracks Realistic handling, each car handles very differently Many different types of racing inc: Rally Nascar/Supercar Formula 1 + Formula ford Street racing Negative Points: Graphics are slightly pixelated at times VERY steep learning curve Can stress...
Summary: A fun game, very different to Gran Turismo because the cars can be damaged and there is a career path to follow - not an alternative to GT as I find myself playing GT when I just want to "drive" but the career mode is challenging with each stage teaching you something new.
