Summary: This version of Tiger for the PSP is what I've been waiting for! I have the original version, with its HORRIBLE load times and bias against lefties, somewhere in the house (after playing it about 2 or 3 times). Playing this 2010 version reminds me of when I played Tiger on my PS2. Load times have DRAMATICALLY improved! The graphics are superb, as usual. STILL no practice mode, but you can play alone in the Strokes and Stableford modes while earning $$$ and confidence.
Summary: Ah Tiger Woods. This is now my fourth copy of a Tiger woods game, and I now have it for every current generation console except for the Playstation 3. Whereas the Wii game is perhaps the most realistic, the PSP version is surprisingly thrilling and fun. TW on the PSP plays similar to that on the Xbox - using your analog stick as a simulated "swing" - pulling down for the back swing, then thrusting it forward at the right moment to strike the ball.
Summary: TW10 for PSP is a return to the style of the 07 and 08 editions. Last year's 09 was for golfing purists -- the putting was difficult, there weren't any silly mini-games, and on the hard difficulty setting it was a genuine challenge. This is EZ mode by comparison -- the putting is in the style of 08 (it tells you when you're off-line and makes recommendations based on the slope), which is way too easy. The annoying confidence games are back from 08.
