Summary: Rockstar Games delivers yet another solid game with the Warriors, a beat-em-up based on the 1979 movie. Can the Xbox version of the West Side Story be far off? Tweet This product was submitted by the publisher for review. As a rule, Defunct Games does not review games we spent money on.
Excerpt: If you liked the movie then you’ll like the game. It branches out a bit more than what the movie did and stays with the time of when the movie was set. You to get to go up against gangs of the movie as you fight your way back to Coney Island.
Pros: Hand to hand combat is original and brutal. The developers have swayed away from throwing in things that are out of character of the time the game is set and stays with simple and sometimes brutal clashes.
Cons: Some of the mini missions drag on a bit and could have been shortened to allow for more content in clashes against other gangs while trying to make it back to Coney Island.
