Summary: I am a fan of survival games and have been since I first played lost in blue. However, when i played this game, i found myself laughing out loud every time my sim ate a poison plant or talked to a monkey. This is not your average survival game. It's more humorous.
Summary: Let me tell you straight off the bat, if you want a sims game for the PSP, get this one. It almost seems like this game was made for the console. Pros, You can spend hours playing it (like most sims games) It actually has a story to it. You always know what you need to do Its better than the sum of its parts Cons, Graphics are less than impressive With cheats you can easily beat it in an hour spending time gathering food and skill points is time consuming and boring.
Summary: This game is completely addictive and really good fun. Sometimes the camera can be a little frustrating and you definitely have to take advantage of the fastforward feature but overall it's a good game to just wander leisurely through.
Summary: This is a game that you have to keep coming back to. You have to complete goals and build things. You can't have babies or kiss, so it is a bit watered down from the originals. Good game overall.
Extremely fun to play, but load times stagnant a bit...

Summary: As I am already a fan of SIMS 2, Castaway really puts a new twist on my favorite game. I really love having goals and missions to accomplish and new territory to discover. The only negative is the sleeping, it can go a bit faster considering you can start a fire and cook in mere seconds. We shouldnt have to wait in real time for what we know takes forever. Also, after the game gets heated up a bit some technical goofy stuff starts happening.
Summary: Ok, I love the sims series, and I almost had a heart attack when I saw this one. I think it's great, a whole lot of fun, and unlike the other sims, this one will keep you busy for a while, because it's going to take a while to figure out all the tricks of the island. However, it's difficult to switch between characters. I find myself just playing the one, because it's easier. Buy, overall totally worth it. Whole lot of fun!
Excerpt: I bought the Sims 2 Castaway for PSP for £29.99 from Game Station. I think that's excellent value for money considering how many hours the game has kept me entertained. Storyline *********** You begin the game by selecting who you want to be and how many people you want to take with you on a trip on your boat. While travelling the weather takes a turn for the worse as a storm hits the boat and everyone is left in the water separated.
