Fun pool game with annoying sounds.

Summary: First off, I really do enjoy this game. It is a nice way to pass the time on an airplane, and having all of the different game options beyond 8-ball and 9-ball helps keep it interesting. I think it's a great PSP game for people who enjoy pool. I do, however, have a few complaints: 1. Really horribly annoying music. I turned it off after about 5 minutes. 2. Really repetitive crowd noise.
Summary: Ok, first off let me say that when I bought this game I didn't expect it to be only a pool game. On the back of the game box it says "Hot chicks, bar-room brawls". I have been playing this for an hour and all I'm seeing is crappy digital animation, crazy long loading screens, and sound clips that keep looping over and over again. Please do not waste your money on this game as I'm sure that if you're not a die-hard pool fan you will not enjoy it....
Summary: I bought this game with every intention of selling it if it stunk, but found myself staying up until one in the morning playing the day I got it. The gameplay is quite well thought-out for a pool game, and the animations are fine. There are load time lags all over the place, but you get used to the rhythm of the game. After you set up your shot, it's a few seconds before you actually see the result.
Summary: I'm starting to enjoy playing more of the sporty video games rather than all the action/adventure games. I like the competitiveness, it's more fun and less serious. In the action/adventure games such as Assassin's Creed and Grand Theft Auto, it's all about completing tonnes of missions and levels, by travelling to different places in a big city by following a map, collecting items and unlocking new things by earning them, and they always take hours to complete.
A tidy pool game with excellent durability which is sure to keep you entertained for hours

Excerpt: I would consider myself as a keen admirer of pool games on the whole and after owning a PSP with a limited amount of games I decided to search for the best pool game available for my hand held device. After browsing online for pool related games I was somewhat surprised at how few there were on the market. Officially there are only 3 currently available to buy; Pocket Pool, World of Pool and The Hustle: Detroit Streets (not to be confused with the Kung Fu movie).

Pros: Cheap with lots of challenges & game modes
Cons: Poor cut scene story lines and variation in audio
Summary: My favourite game right now, amazing graphics as you would expect from a PSP game and awesome sound effects. Its wicked just to sit and play this on a train or long car ride and the banter with the other pool players is funny.
Summary: A great game, but only if you like pool. If like me yr a pool nut then this is exactly what you want. Trick shots, 8 ball, 9 ball, 3 ball, and other variations and challenges. Graphics are pretty good and the gameplay sees you hustling for $ in various pool halls each with a different atmosphere and it's own 'boss character', you need to enhance 'respect bar' and earn enough $ in order to play each boss. Only then can you progress to the next pool hall.
