Summary: A nice little shooter to waste time with but don't expect too much of the plot. Typical Square shenanigans that you can see through if you've played at least two of their games. Also it's not difficult with easy to read AI "hard" in this game just means more enemies. The controls are smooth and feel right and for the price I'd suggest picking it up, but keep in mind it will not live up to the memories you have of playing Parasite Eve way back when.
Summary: So many people give this game poor reviews. As a long time fan of the series (and of Aya herself), I have to say this game was great. Though I wish more people would play it and provide unlockable FAQs. I can't figure out how to get most of the guns.
Awesome Game! A must buy for RPG and Shooter Fans.

Summary: Parasite Eve 1 and 2 were awesome games. When I heard about this 3rd installment, I was very excited, but then Reviewers was saying that it's not the same. It really disappointed me when I heard about that. I've waited for a long time before I jumped in and bought this game. I wasn't expecting much, then suddenly after the 1st Chapter, I was hooked.
Summary: I'm a big Parasite Eve fan and to have the opportunity to play a new installment in my PSP is great. Don't even try to understand the story, it's your typical Japanese complicated sci-fi stuff, but the gameplay is really fun and will leave you with a sore thumb. The graphics and voice acting are top-notch and the game will provide you with some good hours of fun.
Summary: For $10 it may be one of the best PSP games I own. Graphics are fantastic, as you would expect with Square Enix games, and the story is driving. There's some transition changes I dislike, but they can be hard to do with PSP games in genreral. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I haven't finished it yet.
Summary: Initially, I wasn't sure about this game. Everybody said the story was awful, the gameplay was rough, and that the main character was just annoying. Mostly, I disagree. For me, I've always been interested in the Parasite Eve games, but I had never had an opportunity to play them. From the research I did when I was interested in the PSX games, I understand that this story has nothing to do with the previous Parasite Eve games.
Decent game, but hardcore PE fans are sure to be disappointed

Summary: So, I've been looking forward to this game ever since the initial previews for it came out. The original Parasite Eve was one of my favorite games of all time, and I couldn't understand why Squaresoft wasn't pursuing a sequel to the series. In fact, I bought a PSP just so I could play this and Final Fantasy Tactics. So let's get down to it. If you're a diehard Parasite Eve fan, this game is somewhat of a letdown.
Summary: This review is by the perspective of a newbie who has never played any of the other titles in the Parasite Eve series. If you are interested in hearing a fresh opinion about the game with the absence of fan or anti-fan biasses, though, at the expense of information only those who have been long time players of the series -then here we go.. Story: The storyline of The 3rd Birthday can be compared to a rough draft of a vignette.
