SWAT: Target Liberty

Digital Chumps
22 June 2008
  • Conclusion: SWAT's tried and true origins as tactics-based shooter didn't fare so well in their transition from the PC to the PSP. The game's mechanics and design feel dated, as if they tried to pull the gameplay from the 90's and never gave improvement a second thought. The opening thirty minutes is nearly identical to the last thirty minutes, which is a real disappointment for people interested in improvisation or looking to step outside the box.

SWAT: Target Liberty

Defunct Games
27 November 2007
  • Summary: If you feel that the PSP is a weird place for the popular PC franchise, SWAT, then you aren't alone. This is a messy game full of small graphics, a boring story and repetitive action. I'm sure there are people out there that will find this kind of thing exhilarating, but even they will be bummed out when the game only lasts five hours. SWAT: Target Liberty

Game Over Online
9 November 2007
  • Excerpt: Tactical shooters are one of my favorite video game genres so I was pretty excited when SWAT: Target Liberty came across my desk. Unfortunately, no thanks to a tricky targeting system, inefficient AI and repetitive mission design, my enthusiasm for the PSP title quickly turned to apathy. SWAT: Target Liberty is a top-down tactical shooter (think Killzone: Liberation).

SWAT Target Liberty Review (PSP)

Yet Another Review Site
30 November 2007
  • Excerpt: You’re either SWAT or you’re not and this is well…. SWAT Target Liberty is the latest game to grace the SWAT series. SWAT has a long lineage going back to the classic Police Quest series in the 80’s. SWAT did away with Police Quests’ point and click nature and brought into the squad based first person shooter genre, with varying degrees of success.
  • Pros: Good graphics, fun for a while
  • Cons: Gets boring quickly, story line needed some work!, movement s far to slow

SWAT Target Liberty

Megaconsolas
10 June 2014

Swat - Target Liberty (PSP)

Gamezoom.NET
16 December 2007
  • Summary: Leider kein Highlight.
  • Cons: Ladezeiten, Story sehr abgedroschen, kein Coop
