Conclusion: Frustrating! Too much time spent loading up different zones, even if you venture accidentally over a boundary and then have to go straight back to the island zone you just left. This ruins it for me. Lots of potential because I enjoyed Monkey Ball, and an adventure based on that concept could have been great. But it isn't. If you fail a mission or come out of the zone, you have to find the character again to initiate the mission.

Summary: i got this game and i was quite excited about it because it had had good reviews. but when i started to play on it it got a bit boring just rolling around in a ball. so i looked in the instructions booklet just to see if there was like missions or something. but then i saw you had to collect ball abilities. but to do that you had to enter chant mode. so i did what the booklet said to do to enter chant mode. and i tried this about 5 MILLION times.
