Summary: This game is known as 'Shutokou Battle' in Japan and this 'popular' series had been published by Crave under the title 'Tokyo Xtreme Racer' in the States, yet Konami decided to publish PSP version somehow. First, I am a big fan of the series and perhaps played every version for DC, PS2, and PSP. That's why I've cleared the game like 5 times already despite of its many shortcomings. Let me briefly talk about its shrotcomings from a devoted fan's perspective.
pointless for speed lovers, but great for race fans who love cars in general

Summary: first off, if your favorite game is NFS becase you like the thrill of speed, your better off not getting this game. many people may have seen bad remarks about this game off IGN or Gamespot, but in reality, the game is not half bad you come face to face with many cars in the garage, most of which are cars that one may see criuising down the highway, but as you go along, you may be able to double, or even triple the performance of your cars.
Summary: This is a sequel to tokyo xtreme racing on the major consoles. While the other games are good, not great, this one is horrible. You will wait through loading times more than actual racing. When you do race, the opponents are way too easy and the tracks are monotonous. Go with need for speed underground rivals. It's much better. Midnight club 3 is probably better too, although i've not played it.
Summary: Street Supremacy is in a family of video games what is obviously of course Sony PSP racing car games. In my opinion, out of the few that I have tried, Midnight Club Dub Edition Atlanta, and also the Los Angeles one are the best ever. The Midnight Club ones are better than Need for Speed. I once played Need for Speed Carbon on Nintendo DS after I mainlined some cocaine. Anyways, I digress.
Summary: Don't buy it. It's REALLY difficult to drive the cars. The steering is unresponsive, and in the races, once you make ONE mistake, you might as well retire, because you don't get enough time to recover. Your opponent is looong gone. The system of battling is long and drawn out, and when your gang have a war with another, its tiresome. You go head to head with a far faster car, then lose. Then you sit and watch as four of your gang members also race. Really.
Excerpt: Un bon jeu de course sur autoroute au Japon. De superbes voitures customisées et "trafiquées", avec des gros moteurs, des boosts et des équipes qui s'affrontent. Attention au "game over".......!
