Summary: The Good: Great graphics, force powers are fun to use, authentic Star Wars sounds. The Bad: In-mission saves are useless, camera gets a bit wonky at times, long load times, in-mission saves are useless, boss battles entirely too dependent on button-mashing combos, did I mention that the in-mission saves are useless? Well, I had high hopes for SWFU after reading the reviews. At first blush, the force powers and light saber effects are great.
Summary: I dont know what the version on other consoles look or play like, but the version on the PSP is awful. It has the marks of a game that was rushed to market. The game was not optimized to play on the PSP before release. As a result sometimes the game would freeze for a second or two during the action, very annoying and very frequent. This happens in game and sometimes in cutscenes. The worst offender of this game is the camera.
Summary: What PSP owners get here is a Star Wars flavored re working of God of War Chains of Olympus, but with out any of that games better moments. The regular game play is horribly dull, you walk down corridors from A to B, button mashing all the way, before a disappointing boss fight. And the bosses really are disappointing! (more on this in a moment).
