Summary: i got this game just because i liked all of the other games for the consols. i saw screen shots before i got this game and that kind of sealed the deal. the controls are almost identical to the consol ssx's(excluding ssx blur) and graphics are the same way. the graphics and the amount of detail that they put in this game is just plain amazing. i have rarely been so impressed with a psp game.
Summary: I remember playing SSX Tricky as if it were yesterday. That was one heck of a game for the Xbox. I just fixed up a PSP that I bought for dirt cheap, and I've gone on a game buying binge. I was really excited to play some SSX again (Tricky was the last time I'd done so). Your character starts out with now skills, and is fairly slow compared to anyone you race against. I have yet to be able to beat one race, and yet I've been playing for well over 2 hours.
Summary: 8.75 is what i give the game it was an okay game with good challenges and the shaun white snowbording game was not as good It's easy to get caught up in next generation hype and shift focus to an array of games that won't be on store shelves for months to come. EA is a company that is large enough to boast a full line-up of sports sequels that are both scheduled to launch with Xbox 360, as well as close out the current generation.
Summary: This game is fun. Man is this game fun. Over and over again, I tell myself I am done playing, only to come back again and agian for one more run. The gameplay is that fun. Now, the downside. Tricks are hard to pull off in any major way. Small tricks are not really difficult at all during the races. THis makes the races insanely fun. But trying to pull off major tricks in the trick challenges is a complete nightmare. Good luck ever beating the computer opponents.
