Summary: This game was great on the Dreamcast in it's first incarnation. This version is even better since it's got a lot of the same characters plus a few new ones. I love the fact that you can create your own character using their multi-faceted templates! And to have it all come down to the PSP and still be crisp, colorful and giving one a lot of gameplay-it's the perfect game to get for the PSP to while away a few hours.
Summary: As a person who prefers 2d fighters to 3d, Soul Calibur is a great break from my norm. The draw here for me is the Character Creator, reminiscent of Soul Calibur 3's, makes the fighting all the more satisfying when it is my own creation doing the winning. (Or, more often is the case for me, losing.
Summary: All 6 of our kids plus us play this game. Its fun to be different warriors and see if you can out manuveur your opponent. We even got the grandparents in on playing this game. Needless to say there was a lot of 'trash talking' going on that night!
Summary: I am the type of gamer that likes games that are for advanced players and patient players(the ones that nobody can play unless they spend at least 2-5 hours reading the rules and instructions of the game). However because of school I don't have time to be playing those games and that is why I bought this game.
Summary: The first reviewer already said most of my points so I will simply add one more point that was not mentioned. I believe one of the biggest improvement I felt was the better CPU AI for Broken Destiny. Here is why: - I noticed that the AI is more "human like" as it mimics both the good and bad habits of players.
Summary: I have played many PSP fighting games but SoulCalibur:Broken Destiny stands among the best so far. It is as good as Dark Tekken if not better. The controls are pretty much easy to learn and I sort of got it going within minutes. The hard part ,of course, is to beat the daylights out of the many opponents and that is where the huge fun begins. Buy it, you will not be disappointed!!!!
