SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3

Game Over Online
2 March 2015
  • Excerpt: Did you know there have been almost as many SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs games released on the PSP (four) as there have been on both the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 combined (five)? It would appear Sony’s portable handheld system has become the platform of choice for the long-running tactical shooter...

Fragland
8 June 2012
  • Excerpt: SOCOM is a name that guarantees beautiful multiplayer violence on the Playstation. Still it’s managed to get quite a following on the console’s little brother, the PSP. SOCOM: U.S.

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3

Playstation Illustrated
28 October 2010
  • Excerpt: It's been three years since the last SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo and, in that time, many tactical shooters have come and gone. The first two games were great experiences (or, at least I thought so), but the third game in the series doesn't quite match up. For a PSP game, SOCOM: U.S.

Ceville

Square-Go
22 October 2010
  • Excerpt: From Munich based Realmforge Studios, comes Ceville , a light hearted 3D point and click adventure game. Don’t let its Teutonic influences put you off – this game has some decent humour packed into it, with lots of references to other games, movies and cultural icons (H-Lo anyone?).

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3

Game Boyz
5 March 2010
  • Excerpt: I have to be honest and say that my PSP does not see nearly as much playtime as I envisioned when I bought my first one in March 2005 during launch day. Back then I was amazed by the technology and what it had to offer with the introduction of the new UMD format.

Bravo! Fireteam...

TotalPlayStation.com
18 February 2010
  • Conclusion: Fireteam Bravo 3 is definitely not a flawless portable experience, however that doesn't mean that it's not a ton of fun to let your team breach and clear rooms full of terrorists.

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3

GameTrailers
12 February 2010
  • Excerpt: SOCOM US Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 3 is more a fine-tuning than a complete reworking of the established franchise. This third entry focuses on the same core gameplay mechanics, though it manages to squeeze in four-player co-op, and a few new multiplayer modes.

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 Review

G4
9 February 2010
  • Summary: SOCOM returns in fine form to the PSP, thanks to a solid presentation and playable controls. The game sports some of the most extensive multiplayer options of any portable game and makes great use of the PSP's power. Even better is the inclusion of full-on co-op play through the main story line.
  • Pros: Great portable war-time action with a streamlined control scheme, Looks and sounds excellent, Superb multiplayer, especially co-op campaign over PSN
  • Cons: Story gets a little strange by the end, Easy to get stuck on obstacles, Sometimes too reliant on auto-aim
