Summary: Here is the review in my daughter's words "Um, well it's fun, I mean, the only reason it's 4 is cuz, I don't know, just, it's um a fun game, I don't, it's just a 4" WOW!! Really awkward. I think what she's trying to say is that she really likes it, just that she doesn't love it.
Summary: So once upon a time, this game was released in the USA with a famously bad localization. Now we're getting a much more faithful translation, with a few improvements thrown in; and I think the enthusiasm this has generated among Persona fans is causing reviewers to overlook some fairly massive flaws in the game. First of all, the up-side.
Summary: This really is a great game. At first, i was kinda upset about the graphics but after playing for 6 hrs i started to really get into the story because some interesting things start happening around that point (no spoilers though lol). Then, as you get farther in, the combat just gets better and the amount of attacks are astounding (compared to P3 and P4 all of the personas have a lot more diverse attacks instead of bufu/ ice and buffula/ med ice and then bufaga strong...
Summary: I haven't finished this game yet but I am having a lot of fun with it. I played Persona 3 and 4 and loved them both so I decided to get this one. It is a lot different than the other ones. You don't get to make social links, it's all dungeon crawling. But if like persona it's nice to see how the series started and if you like RPGs this game is fun and is very different from the rest. It takes place in one town and students are the ones investigating.
Summary: This game apparently came out on ps1 years ago. never heard of it. P3P is re- released for psp and i fell for it hard. dropping more than 40hrs of game-play into persona 3 had me wondering if this title would be another worthy investment or a lackluster predecessor that didn't really stand the test of time very well. I was pleasantly surprised.
Summary: Anyone who's played the original Revelations:Persona game knows by now that the localization and translation was not the greatest. This version tries to rectify this. It does a decent job of this, as it has been localized like most of Altus' latest games like the two newest Persona games (3&4). However if you're looking for gameplay and graphics similar to either of the newest Persona games, you won't find it. What you will find is some great old school RPG action.
Summary: I'm a huge megaten fan, so of course I bought this game. I remember how much fun the original was and was very excited about this "remastering" of the title. The soundtrack and story are great, but besides the cut scenes the graphics and gameplay are still a bit dated. If you are a fan of the Shin Megami Tensei series you should buy this, if not, this may not be the game for you.
