Secret Agent Clank

Game Boyz
19 December 2008
  • Excerpt: The Ratchet and Clank series of games have been a solid franchise for Sony and all of its consoles. Most of the games have been released on the PS2. As Sony has evolved into the next-gen arena the series has seen a release on the PS3. Of course the PSP has also seen some Ratchet and Clank love too. The most recent release is a game that I have had the opportunity to review. Secret Agent Clank is developed by High Impact Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment.

Secret Agent Clank

The Gamers Temple
26 October 2008
  • Excerpt: By Kevin "Berserker" Hall Player(s): 1 Memory: 160KB Ratchet and Clank's first outing on the PSP played much like they're other games, only the overall game was shrunk down to fit the PSP (as the title suggested). Now in Secret Agent Clank, Ratchet takes a backseat to his buddy Clank, who takes on the role of a secret agent for this new adventure. Ratchet is imprisoned for having been charged with stealing a precious gem from a museum and hiding it in some unknown area.

  • Conclusion: THE VERDICT: Yep, it's a fun game. Nothing earth-shattering, but more of the same fun and frolics you would associate with a Ratchet and Clank game. It's the most seven out of tenny thing that's ever existed thanks to the simple fun, the fact that stealth is optional and the fact that it's pretty funny at times. Well done there then.

Secret Agent Clank (PSP) - Review

VGChartz
11 August 2008
  • Excerpt: Ratchet and Clank are back for another go ‘round on the PSP.  This time Clank is the star, acting as a bad James Bond impersonator with none of Bond’s charms or charisma but a lot of bad one-liners inspired by the Bond films.  Ratchet still has some limelight on him, but this time he’s behind bars and gets involved with a lot of prison riots, it seems.

PSP Review - 'Secret Agent Clank'

WorthPlaying
7 August 2008
  • Summary: Secret Agent Clank features a story that focuses on Clank as the central character. Delivering tongue-in-cheek humor, Secret Agent Clank takes cues from classic spy movies in an adventure that takes Clank to the far reaches of the galaxy to prove the innocence of his best friend, Ratchet.

Secret Agent Clank

Game Over Online
28 July 2008
  • Excerpt: To put it very simply, whether or not you like Secret Agent Clank is going to depend on how much time you're willing to put into mastering the PSP. There's really no such thing as a bad Ratchet & Clank game; the worst thing you can say about something like, say, Deadlocked is that it didn't have the same irreverent sense of humor as the others. As action-adventure games go, they're always solid bets.
