Summary: At first I thought this would be a nice game to play during road trips but quickly found myself losing to the following "words" used by the computer opponent: AE OE OI AL After it literally used "youse" (as in 'hey, youse guys") I tried "dook", which it would not take as a valid word. [...
Summary: This Scabble game is very fun, exciting and knowledgeable to play.Especially when it is for two players. This game will enhance your IQ and vocabulary as well. I recommend this for the children too!
Summary: Scrabble for the PSP supports only 4th ed OSPD. Great little trainer with nice graphics and unlockable 'themes' and avatars. Pretty and functional design. Pros: Entire OSPD 4th ed included, word finder, plenty of interesting training puzzles, controls are functional. Cons: No OWL or SOWPODS support.
Summary: I had to make a choice between the DS version of the game and the PSP version of the game. After reading reviews of the DS version I opted for the PSP Scrabble. I am not dissapointed at all. This game is great fun! I can't speak as someone who has extensive Scrabble experience but I enjoyed playing the game growing up and then with my kids now. I would consider myself a casual player. I find the AI is fine--but not very challenging at the early levels.
Summary: If you really like the board game you will really love this. You can be timed or not witch I really loved.Fun just to play in your free time. Can play for hours. The price is pretty high but if you really enjoy the board game you should spend the money.
Summary: If you constantly feel you can't get enough scrabble in your life this will be to your liking, otherwise steer clear. Having different play modes was a nice idea, especially for people wanting to improve their scrabble skills and the AI is a worthy opponent. However, the downfalls are too much to bear. And sadly enough with a few rather simply changes, this could of been a more entertaining game. The sound is horrible, the music is generic and repetitive.
Summary: I'm a big fan of Scrabble, and have been since I was a kid. I found this PSP version to be very fun, easy to get into and adjust to, and the game AI to be well rounded(as in not cheating all the time as in another Scrabble game I bought for the PC). I really enjoy the sound effects and the music for this game. It is really fresh and upbeat, and doesn't bore me after playing it for hours, unlike other games I've played.
