Summary: The Good: Amazing visuals, voice acting, good story for Resistance fans, solid mechanics that work, fun boss fights, great weapons, addictive multiplayer The Bad: Long winded campaign that's stretched thin, can be so difficult you'll want to quit, gets boring and repetitive about halfway through, a few broken mechanics Well before you read this review I've NEVER played any of the PS3 Resistance games.
Summary: Recently I got back into video games and really got drawn in by the God of War for PSP. Thinking that all games may be this exciting and easy to play, I elected to try out this heavily advertised title. I will say that I was drawn into the storyline but I have really had difficulty in learning all the controls as it seems that every single button on the PSP will be utlized to do something.
Summary: A good action-packed shoter, Resistance utilises the shape butons for general aiming of weapons, the analoge stick for directional movement, d-pad for in game menus & the sholder butons for firering. This control layout is found in many other games (MOH: Heroes 2, GRWAR 2 ect..) and is the only layout that works well for PSP shoters. Storyline is good, adds to the Resistance narrative. Concetivety with Resistance 2 on PS3 extends play ability.
Conclusion: ok dont get me wrong this game is very good, and very long for a psp game. their are multiple of problems with this game. the controls are frustrating esspecially when trying to run away from big bosses. There a no save points, and it does not auto save apart from when you get half way into level. Then if you want to stop playing and turn the game off, then you have to start all over again from the begining of the level. my advice is buy this game when its say £5.
