Conclusion: Doesn't have a master league big deal? I love this game cant get enough of it. I got PES6 as well and I must say I keep coming back to this just because of the gameplay. Its how football should be played on a console.
Conclusion: This Is Great Adaptation Of The PS2 Version, Although The Absence Of A Master League May Limit The Amount Of Your Life You Want To Use Up By Playing This Game! Along With GTA, This Is The 2nd Must Have Game For All PSP Owners!
Although well out of date, it can be considered a good bargain at around £5

Excerpt: Rating - 3+ Multiplayer - yes This was the first Pro Evolution game on the psp and one of the first games I got with my psp. As the name suggests it is the 5th in the series but it's a bit different from its console counterparts.
Excerpt: Pro evolution soccer 5 is one of my favorite games, I had this on my ps2 and now on my psp. The graphic are great and the group play has developed and generally the league has got better in slight ways. As it is the first pre evolution in psp it is good all over.
Excerpt: it is a very good all round game, probably the best football game available, it is easy to play, it has great graphics, this game isnt for woman who cant accept football, they need to understand us men need to play this game a lot.
Excerpt: When it came to buying handheld games consoles in my household it was a real no-brainer. My girlfriend would have a Nintendo DS so she could play all the cutesey games that she wanted to, and I would be more manly and have a PSP.
Pros: Playing a match is still good fun, WiFi mode .
Cons: No Master League mode, too many other features stripped out . Half a game .
Excerpt: Very good for the pro evo lover, but for the first time tryer may prove a little annoying. >>>>Gameplay<<<< The gameplay is brill but the long loading times, fiddly controls and lack of the master league means that the game lacks its full pleasure and ability.
Excerpt: Well...Pro Evolution Soccer 5 is a game with a difference. It may not appeal to all gamers as it doesn't have some of the features like on the PS2 version, like the ability to edit the kit badges.
Excerpt: Pro Evolution Soccer is not a game, it's a lifestyle! Having played various versions through all 4 years of university and beyond - i am now one of many whose love of this game borders on the obsessive. It's a game that there is ALWAYS time for.
Excerpt: As before PES always seems to come out above FIFA in the yearly wars, and yet again pro is head and shoulders above all other football games. There is little difference inbetween the gameplay of PES5 on psp and ps2.
Pros: Portable Pro Evo, the ability to update database with ps2 .
Cons: Loading times, through balls and lack of L2 and R2 buttons
