Summary: Ok to start off this I would have given this game a 4 star or maybe a 5 star if not for the the bad controls it has . The jumping is horrible and that is bad because this game is a platforming game , with that said Prinny game is very unforgiving and at times its frustrating and challenging but not in a good way , challenging as in keep your calm through all those unfair deaths and bad jumping because of bad controllers that lead you to dying A LOT .
Summary: Not even the Disgaea branding could cover up that is the a side-scroller with an extremely linear progression and high rate of repetition. Sidescrollers have never been my forte, but I was hoping that would not matter. It mattered. Even normal mode was too difficult, and my thumb started to hurt from pressing buttons during a huge robot boss fight where I lost 200 lives before finally winning. Unsure if I will complete, despite liking the atmosphere and tone.
Summary: The games premise is great as I am a huge fan of disgaea's franchise. The animation and art style are sweet and introduce some characters we know and love. The tutorial is easy but this is were it starts to fall short. -The tutorial doesn't explain all of the hidden goals of the game (they are mentioned briefly) and leaves much to be desired. -The levels aren't replayable, except for the tutorial, you must complete the game before you replay a map... -The hand cramp!
Summary: The story is humorous and complete, the scenery is beautiful, the graphics are good, the soundtrack and music is high quality, the voice-acting is flawless, the characters are cute. The controls are easy. This game has literally everything going for it. But it's so frustrating to play that it ends up being more agony than enjoyment. You will die. Over. And over. And over again. Then a few more times.
Summary: I Just impulse bought this off PSN for $7.99. I know it's cheap right. I can see why the game has grown in popularity. It's a beautiful throw back to the old days. Kind of like old school Ninja Gaiden, with humor. For those of us who are NIS fans... This is an obvious choice. For those who are not. Remember when you had limited life, everything relied of precision platforming, bosses took real strategy, and all you had was a few simple attacks.
Summary: Game came with a soundtrack both in perfect condition. As for the game itself... A wonderous side-scroller will a serious amount of difficulty and beautiful graphics. You can even save replays of your feats.
Summary: this game is really good. The sense of humor is very good. Also the levels are nice and detailed. The boss battles are VERY similer to Megaman power up.The move air slash was smart for long ranged attack lovers.Play it and see for yourself.
