Summary: If I had known this was the exact game as Warrior Within from PS2 with a different name title, I would not have purchased it. I didn't care for Warrior Within, so when I started this, I was angry. I played it for 20 minutes, and never played it again. The controls adapted for this version is not that great. It's takes practice with the wall runs to the immediate jump to the pillars.
Summary: First of all, the people from Ubisoft sell this game as a sequel of the game, PUNKS!!! This is the same Warrios Within game for PS2, beaware, this is not a diferrent game, is the same of Warrior Within
Summary: Being a prince of persia fan since the first dos version, i bought this game without a second thought. 5 minutes into the game i realized it is the WORST PSP GAME so far. Instead of making a game for the psp, they only chopped "Prince of Persia: Warrior within" (part 2) and placed it in a UMD. During the game your sound (SPECIALLY MUSIC) will constantly go off for several seconds at a time. Loading sucks too, a good deal 15-20 seconds for the middle levels.
Summary: Prince of Persia - Revelations Ubisoft has taken Prince of Persia The Warrior Within and reduced it for the PSP. When it was released (in late 2005), it was one of the better games for the console, since all other games were terrible anyway. Now things are different, but this review should not compare this game to recent classics. The graphical transition from higher end consoles & PC to the PSP is superbly done.
Summary: Slightly more than a year ago, I wrote a review on Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. I didn't like that game then. Bad Prince. Bad music. Too much blood, gore and corny dialogues. Fast foward to the present day, I've completed Warrior Within for the third time on the PS2, and I've grown to appreciate the game better, mainly due to its plot. The Back to the Future-style time-travelling tale just grows on me, and I didn't "hate" the game so much.
Excerpt: I've played the prequel of this (the Sands of Time on PS2) but this game seemed to let the side down a bit. The Graphics Considering it was on PSP, the graphic were a bit primative. It was a little reminescent of the graphics of an early PS2 game because the landscape detail and texture was a bit flat and undetailed. It was the same with the features of the enemies and bosses; when they appeared on the screen their limb looked a bit jagged in the way they were cut.
Excerpt: Prince of Persia Revelations on the PSP is an updated version of Warrior Within. It is basically the same game play but with more levels and some new content. It has the same sort of platform action as previous Prince of Persia's in the series. I have played Prince of Persia before on other platforms, PC and PS2. Now recently played it on the PSP and must admit was quite impressed. The story starts were it left off from the previous game, Warrior Within.
