Summary: This game kind of reminds me of Zelda, but I say that loosely because the controls are glitchy and loading takes some time when you are up against an enemy. I do like it! I haven't finished it yet but its still really fun! I like games like these. Games that aren't very popular but you still want to give it a try! I'm not one to complain about much. I just thought Id mention a few things that were out of place!
Summary: New rpg's are rare for the PSP so I turned to replaying the many earlier rpg's and Popolocrois is a great game and a long game. The story line is great and the many characters draw you into the game. Graphics and game playing control is awesome. Hard to put down once you start playing and the old games for the PSP are worth replaying.
Summary: Update: Did a little research and here is the gist: This is actually a remake of Popolocrois I and II. What the developers decided on, was tweaking the original game into two 'books' in this game, then adding Popolocrois II as the 3rd 'book'. You can check out some Youtube video for the original, Japanese games. But to sum it up: Popolocrois on PS1 starts out differently, with Gami Gami Devil attacking the castle. Then you join up with Biggs and Wedge...
Summary: Popolocrois is a great JRPG for the PSP. My only Complaint is the Loading times.. If it wasnt for that this would be a much better game. But if your not like me (Impatient) Then you shouldnt be bothered by this. I still recommend buying this though regardless it is a great game.
Summary: Hi I am a heavy RPG fan, and I know a good RPG when I play it. And Popolocrois is not a good game. The story line is bad. The story is, this little boy (ten yrs old) sets off on a "Magical" journey on a potion that will wake up his mom who has been in a "Mysterious sleep" for ten years. The story sounds corny, yes and it does not get any better. The game does not give good directions on where to go next. The gameplay is dull, you kill all monsters with one or two hits.
Summary: I really love this game. I would highly recommend it to any RPG / Anime fan of any age. It has a good story line and awesome little movies here and there. I was a little skeptical at first. I thought it might be cheesy with not so great battle action, but I am very glad I gave it a try. The only thing I could see change is the random, pop-up battles out in the fields.
Summary: Must have for the RPG player. Even though it can be finished in one sitting. *i finished the game in the course of a day* battle system is simple, the story line is cute * a little boy going to search for his mommy*. the loading times and the battle system aren't half bad.
Summary: There are good games...great games...and then there are terrible games. PoPoLoCrois is a great game that plays like a good game and looks like a terrible game. This game came out a LONG time ago...like 4 years ago. It was one of the first true RPGs for the PSP, back when the PSP was expensive and riddled with dead pixels. At the time we really had one other choice: Untold Legends, with its horrific load times.
