Summary: I guess for me it was a nostalgic thing as the first major games I played was a flight simulator and this was pretty much on the button. If you enjoy such things then this is a good one to play with as it does the basic stuff like take-off, landing and destination flying as well as some more interesting simulations for those who want to fry things on the screen, all in all a good game for someone wanting to start playing flight sim games.
Excerpt: "This is a great game if you are into simulation and that sort of genre when it comes to gaming but there are some minor details. If you are into to commercial flying then this is not the game for you. Although many reviews say it has a big range of aircraft, it does. Most of the planes though are military and there are actually only two commercial planes! If you're not that bothered and do not like detailed simulation and are not THAT bothered about ...
Summary: Purchased this for my 8 year old daughter, who loves all things plane related and wants to be an RAF pilot one day. She absolutely loves it, and has hours of enjoyment. The graphics are very good and there's lots of different missions and plenty of game play. You can choose from a variety of aircraft from war-time planes to the latest jets.
Summary: Great game lots of good aircraft (big and small). But the map is a bit to limited that being the only real downside to the game but if you are a fan of planes and flying I would recommend this game because it is just great fun!
Excerpt: "pilot academy , good game. you have a huge range of planes on the game, from a fighter jet - to a seven four seven- to an air tractor, all with amazing capabilitys and brilliant graphics on the game . scenarios on the game are really realistic and their are plenty of civilian missions, millitary style missions and lots of challenges one even asks you to fly under bridges upside down! which takes ages to master. you can take lessons on the planes but ...
Summary: Recently i brought this game elsewhere, but for the benifit of others, i decided to review it here: Introduction This is the first free roam flight simulator, and it has many options of aircraft, (civilian and military). It has a variety of missons and challenges, testing all of your flight abilities.
Conclusion: if you are expecting a flight sim with as much realism as a microsoft flight sim, then you will be dissapointed. if on the other hand you want a flight game that cuts down the detail and delivers more in the way of mission based fun then you will be more than happy with pilot academy. firstly the sheer variety of aircraft available is staggering, in fact you get much more than the microsoft counterpart.
Conclusion: When i first heard about a flight simulator on psp i jumped at the chance and brought it straight there and then in store. I am a really enthusiastic flight simulator player on PC, and i was really hopign it would be s good as X plane 8 on psp. Well, i wasn't wrong, but maybe i thought too much of it. Introduction This is the first free roam flight simulator, and it has many options of aircraft, (civilian and military).
Summary: well, well, looks like our portable pall can take to the skies. it can and it does with some success. pilot academy is a fully respectable game. plenty of military and civillian planes to choose from, most of them unlockable. throw in a vast area to fly around in. 4 player multiplayer for the not so faint hearted, it can get tense up there. however, the controls are flawed by the very system it runs on.
