Summary: We have a grandson,9, who is dyslexic and has reading difficulties due to a severe illness when he was 3. This year I got him some games for his PSP as a birthday gift. The day he got them he came to our home to visit for 2 days. I have never seen this young man so excited to learn something!
Summary: I got a great deal on Amazon for this two game pack. I am not a gamer, but after reading the positive reviews, I bought it for my 8-year old son who has been playing both now regularly for several months now.
Summary: this is one of the most original games created, i play the demo about 2 weeks before launch, and can't wait for the complete adventure, once it release I cant give a rest to my PSP it's very addictive. this game is unique, try it you wont regret.
Summary: What a great game! Repeat the beats to defeat your enemies! Be careful though, because it's super addictive. You also may want to consider headphones to spare those around you from the craziness. One of my favorite PSP games!
Summary: Patapon is a great game overall-- I love the concept of controlling your army through drumming, an new idea different from just following beats on DDR/Guitar Hero. I was a little apprehensive at first, thinking that it might be boring. Plus, I'm not even that great with rhythm games in general.
Summary: My very first impression when I got the game was that it might be another one of those that I pick up, play, and get bored after three minutes. But it is exactly the opposite the game is highly addictive and FUN- all around.
Summary: This is a really cool game, especially if you like rhythm games (Guitar Hero and such). Basically, you have to memorize different pattens of drumming (pressing the action buttons) in order to command the Patapons to advance, attack, etc.
Summary: Patapon is definitely a different type of game than most others. The rhythm and beat style game really sets this apart. The graphics are simple yet full of color and fluid motions. Sound/Music is fairly good, the only thing that can get slighly annoying is when all the little patapons start cheering...
Summary: I recently purchased Patapon, after reading a few reviews, because I'm a Guitar Hero and DDR fan. I was skeptical about the idea of a rhythm game on a handheld system, but Patapon pulls it off nicely.
