Summary: If you like Hot Shots golf then you'll like this game no doubt. If you're of the aforementioned camp AND you like anime then you should definitely buy this game. This is a solid golf game and a lot of fun to play. It has story elements incorporated into it as well as unlockables. I own this game and Hot Shots Golf Open Tee 1 & 2 and compared to those games this one stands firm right next to them on the podium for best golf game on the PSP.
Summary: I have been a fan of Pangya since I found the MMO. Unfortunately the online game had many draw backs, mainly the sheer volume of people who use bots and sell items for astronomical amounts of pang. When I learned about the hand held version I immediately ordered it and I have not looked back since. Much like the MMO, you have to earn Pang to purchase new items. Unlike the mmo, your characters come free as you play through story mode, and nothing requires IRL money.
Summary: The Good: Charming characters, intriguing story, simple controls The Bad: Customization is ultimately useless, takes awhile to unlock most courses, sub-par graphics A long time ago, in a parallel dimension to Earth, there was a magical island-world known simply as Pangya. All was peaceful in Pangya until one day, an evil force summoned by the Demon King, came crashing down upon the land.
Summary: I had never played a single golf game in my life before buying this game. Nor had I played any kind of golf outside of mini golf and did not know any rules of the game. I saw a launch trailer for this game that really stood out and I wanted to try something different so I took a crack at it. I ended up playing it every minute I had when I wasn't working or sleeping. The story campaign is massive and will take a considerable amount of time to clear.
Summary: I always liked Pangya. Since i played on PC, i always wanted to have a portable version of this game. Now i really have it in my possesion. Great game. Much much fun than the PC version. You should try it too...
