Summary: I was looking for a basketball game with decent graphics and great gameplay. After reviewing this product online I realized that this was by far the most recommended selection for portable basketball games. Add to this fact that it's an EA Sports game I purchased it. Gameplay is fairly straightforward and the graphics are decent, but it really could use more of the Madden NFL engine to drive this game.
Summary: Honestly, I am huge support of NBA2K8, however I am in Iraq right now so I have to subject myself to NBA live 08 on PSP. The mini games are fun, and I like the added 3 point contest and slam dunk, but the actual gameplay of the game is horrid. Anyone can take it all the way to the hole and lay it up and it's hard to stop. It's just not worth the money.
Summary: This is the first NBA game that I played and I love it. Here is what I have to say about the game. Great things The best thing is all star weekend where you have all the events of real life all star weekend. You could play the all star game, 3 point shootout, slam dunk contest, and the rookie vs sophmore game.
Summary: bottem line. everyone who plays onine cheats. youll find your self winning in a game then in between quarters suddenly you will see a message like" other player have terminated connection" then you will get the loss and they will win. ive had games when ive been 20 points ahead and they pull there little cheat and I loss. my record now is 45 and 35. About 30 of those losses are from these nba live cheaters. E.a does nothing about it either.
A game full of glitches and underdeveloped AI, but still remains to be decently fun.

Summary: Let me just start by saying that the only reason you should "upgrade" from LIVE '06 to LIVE '07 is that it has Steve Nash's current haircut... No, but seriously, this game is fun, but it's only fun because it's a basketball game from EA Games. There is no real significant "upgrade" from Live '06. There ARE however many new features, some of them good, most of them unnecessary.
Summary: I normally don't post reviews, but I thought that this game was good enough to warrant one. The graphics....well they're pretty good. Nothing AMAZING, but they're good to show to your friends/coworkers the capabilities of your psp. The gameplay is where this game truly shines. The buttons are great, and this game(on rookie) is easy for most beginners to pick up. The online is great, as well.
NBA Live 2007 (PSP): NBA Live 2007 - anyone for basketball
21 December 2009
Summary: NBA Live 07 was given to me a while back now and I have to prefer most of the games I'd played up till that point had been football related. However I have been into Basketball in America for a while and following the NBA league games so thought I'd give this a go to see what it was like. I really enjoyed it and I hope you will too if you love basketball.
Cons: Slight annoyances with gameplay but not major
Conclusion: The EA yearly update is usually met by me with a luke warm reception, however with so much missing from NBA 06 I was looking forward to Live 07 and it did not disappiont. Last years lacked a Franchise mode and long term the game suffered. In 07 Franchise is in and a pretty deep rewarding experience Free agents, contracts, drafts, wage caps all there and all work well.
