Summary: this game has nice graphics, and good gameplay. The only problem is the lack of game modes. NBA Live 06 has Superstar challenge, where you complete goals in certain situations with different superstar players, a single season (but not a franchise), ALL star weekend, which is brilliant and just as good as on the home consoles, online play (free if you choose to be sponsored by espn), and finally, of course, quick play.
Summary: Nba live 06 is an amazing game for the psp. It really shows the beauty of the console. It has everything from season games to slam dunk contests. The graphics are one of the best. Its really hard to let go of especially if your playing season mode. But it could be better.... First of all the controls were kinda hard to master (Being that this is my first game for the PSP). But you get used to it after a while and it gets better. Also, the loading times are insane.
Good effort, Live truly is in the palm of your hand...

Summary: If you want a good basketball game for your portable, NBA Live certainly is a good bet for you. E.A. pulled it off very nicely. I didn't think Live could be compacted to a "portable level" but this is a very good start for the portable franchise. It's very similar to it's console cousin, all the "SuperStar" moves are intact. Between the leg passes, pass fakes, multiple dunks, power blocks, power moves ETC.
Summary: By the far the best of the basketball games on the PSP. At least in this game you make some shots and can drive the lane without picking up your dribble (NBA 06 messed both of these up). Decent animations, average to below average graphics. Fast and fun gameplay. Bad: at least a 1-2 second pause everytime a shot is made. Not as much control as in the console version. The Good: More control than NBA street.
Summary: this is the best basketball game i have ever got. i love basketball so when i got a gameboy advance sp, i got a basketball game. shaquille o neal looked like a nerd and tim duncan looked alcoholic. in psp though, the graphics are awesome if you pick center court mode instead of broadcasting. i feel like i am right in the action. the best game ever!
Summary: If you have a psp and you like basketball get this game. This game has unbelievable graphics for handheld. When i first got this game i played it for Little bit more than 3 weeks straight. You can the play all-star weekend, beat record made by star players, play season, play playoffs, and more!!!!. I ecomend this game for basketball lovers.
Summary: this game is awesome! the graphics are great and the sound is awesome! it has a full season mode, 3 point and slam dunk contest. there is infrastructure mode but you have to let espn spam you with email or give up 2 bucks.
Summary: This is the best game I ever got. The graphics are awesome. This NBA game follows all the rules, such as 3 second violation, backcourt violation, just how I like it. The music is terrific! There is actually broadcasting! There are different rap songs and the game is just the best ever. Although this game costs fifty dollars, it is absolutely worth your money if you like basketball. I love basketball and I play this game 24/7. Get the game!
Summary: i really likes this game except for one thing. It suucked. The graphics are like a psone game. I am really dissapointed in EASports for letting this one get on the market. Every time you or your opponent scores the game freezes for 3 or 4 seconds. It easily loses your attention. In a real game with 12 minutes per quarter you can barely scratch 100 points. But if you play a 3-5 minute quarter in this game you can easily get in double figures.
