   One of the lone bright spots includes a milestones system that keeps track of total time spent airborne, stunt points accrued, and a bevy of other statistics. Additionally there's a decent amount of unlockable content, including paint jobs, driver costumes, and whacky vehicles such as the monster truck. In the end these features do little to salvage an otherwise dismal game. It probably would have been best if the PSP version of Untamed were kept in its cage. Read more

   Trying to capitalize on vehicles that you wouldn't normally play in a racing game, MX vs. ATV: Untamed takes dirt bikes, ATVs, and Monster Trucks and pits them against each other to create an arcade racer that strives to be more. Read more

   I love racing games, and I’ve always been a big fan of the MX vs. ATV series as well as just about any other racing game Rainbow Studios has put out in the past ten years. Tantalus has done a decent job porting this to the PSP, and while Untamed is a solid installment in the series I’d still have to say Sony’s ATV Offroad Fury Pro probably finishes slightly ahead of this title in overall quality.Then again, you can never have too many racing games in your collection...    Closing Comments MX vs. ATV Untamed on the PSP is a solid racing title, though it has plenty of flaws. The control mechanics are great, but there are issues with landing a trick cleanly, item placement for some of the goals and sometimes frustrating computer assist. If you're into offroad racing then it's certainly worth a look, but don't expect perfection. Read more
