  • Conclusion: Despite shiny issues and unsightly screen-blur, there’s a good deal of shortterm fun to be had here, which makes this compilation perfect for short-term play.

Namco Museum: Battle Collection

Portable Review
22 October 2005
  • Excerpt: With the multitude of emulators available for the PSP, you can get most if not all of the games on this compilation for “free”. However, you won’t be able to play the arranged games. The Pac-Man arrangement is one of my favorite games in the collection, but there are a good lot of games on here that will appeal to many different people.

PSX Extreme

  • Excerpt: 2) It includes 21 games (17 classic originals and 4 "arrangement" remakes). That's twice as many as previous Museum releases, and still a couple more than were included on the Namco Museum 50th Anniversary Arcade Collection that was just released for PS2, GameCube, and Xbox.

Namco Museum Battle Collection Review

GameSpot
24 August 2005
  • Summary: With its longer-than-normal game list and attention to detail, this is one of the better versions of Namco Museum to be released.
  • Pros: Nice, long game list, Lots of display options, Controls just fine, Gets the emulation down just fine, Maniac options menu gives you a few additional challenges
  • Cons: Game sharing demo seems pretty pointless, Demands that you update your firmware before playing, Almost all these games have been released in most of the previous Namco collections

Namco Museum: Battle Collection

gamesector.dk
9 April 2006
