Summary: This was the first PSP game I bought. I always read a lot of reviews before purchasing a game these days because I have been burned by games many times in the past. For the most part, the reviews I read about MLB Baseball were right on. The game is PHENOMENAL. The game play, animated actions of the players, graphics and presentation, audio commentary, sound effects, load time, and actual game simulation and play rival those of any baseball game for any computer or...
Summary: I have read aton of reviews and this is way better than MVP. Even though I have MVP for the gamecube this game is way better. The grapics are great, gameplays great, and this game is just great. Go Yanks!
Summary: THIS IS A GOOD MLB GAME TO BUY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BASEBALL GAME FOR YOUR PSP. IT IS MUCH BETTER THEN EA SPORTS MVP GAME THE ONLY THING THAT IS KINDA HARD IS PLAYING THE OUTFIELD. BUT OVER ALL ITS A GOOD GAME TO HAVE.
Summary: I first waited for the release of MVP because on consoles it is the superior game.On the PSP it bites. The batter has such a swing delay that you have to swing as soon as the pitcher lets go whether it's gonna be a ball or a strike. The graphics on MLB are also much better then MVP.MLB does not have all the intro movies of the batter walking into the box and all that but how many times do you watch them anyway?
Summary: First of all, the platform I was playing before this was N64 so I wasn't spoiled already by the Cube, PS2, or XBOX. MLB on PSP is pretty awesome to look at and very fluid gameplay. I tried to start out at "All-Star" mode (the middle difficulty) but kept striking out too much. Went back to "Rookie" and am really jamming with the bat though losing as much as I win. One of the problems for me is the baserunning which seems more difficult than necessary..
