Summary: This game is very good for all sport fans. The graphics are stunning, the broadcasters are good, and the gameplay is fun, especially road to the show. However, it is very challenging to reach the triple A league and the majors in road to the show. The only chance, in my opinion, a player has a chance to reach the big leagues is if he/she is a pitcher, considering that it is very difficult to hit extra base hits and singles in that case.
Summary: this is a good game, it is fun when you get the hang of it, but the road to the show, well i'll start off with the good things, you get to play, and it is fun to play at first, but as it goes on it gets boring, your skill's start to decrease, butyou have to get your advancment goals done, or else the manager gets mad, and i have been in AAA for almost two seasons now, and 7 tims in a row completed all my advancment goals, but then i get 7 e-mails saying that you did good...
Summary: I have had MLB The Show games since the first one came out, this was the first time i got one for the PSP and it plays just like the PS3 games, i can still do the same things on the PS3 that i can on the PSP. I had a little question about the actual shipping process, mainly that there wasn't any cushion or bubble pack or anything inside to protect the game, but other than that i am very satisfied.
Still the Best Baseball on the PSP, but Not Much Difference

Summary: The Show is the king of console baseball games for a reason--it's reaslistic, fun, and everything works. That said, while the PS3 has gotten significant updates the last two seasons, the PSP version is essentially the same game engine since MLB 06. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but outside of updates to Road to the Show, player specific music tracks, a new difficulty level, and the obligatory roster and stadium updates, the overall gameplay and graphics are still...
Summary: Welcome to the Show '09. New features from last year: *Legends Mode: A very hard difficulty level, if All-Star was too easy for you. *New Managerial Options: You can now enter 5-rule drafts, as well as deal with salary arbitrations. Also, different coaches now have different affects on players(batting coach, hitting coach, etc...) *New Audio Options: Create Walk-Up to bat music, reliever entrance theme and more. Those are the main ones.
Summary: I have owned the last 4 years of this game. While I know that they can't change a lot, and the technology/graphics for PSP are probably somewhat limited, can't they at least change the announcers scripts? It's the same exact content as the last few years, best I can tell. Overall, still a great game. It's worth the $30 to upgrade in my opinion.
Summary: Corrects a lot of issues with 2008. The Online Roster Updates (dated March 1, 2009) is way behind with missing players and transactions that have been known for months. The overall game play has improved from 2008.....the Pitching meter is hard to see on PSP....the release marker is hidden by the blur of white....they need to make the release marker a different color or change the white color....4/5 stars!
