Summary: Metal Slug XX is a nice addition to series, but is not enjoyable as it should be. The action is more intense than previous games to the point where the screen is filled up with so much enemy activity that your character gets killed almost instantly with every new respawn. There's less "running-and-gunning" and more "kill all enemies to proceed" pacings. There are also new enemies that add more unnecessary challenge to the game.
Summary: I love Metal Slug games... That said, this game disapoints... don't get me wrong, it's a great shooter. Problem is it's designed as if it were to be played at the arcades. That means death after death after death in the normal and hard difficulties. Instead of being a game that forces the player to hone his skills, it is an exercise in frustration.
Summary: Well its good because it is the remake of metal slug 7 same mission but the only thing that got my attention is that I'm trying to find the codes for this game because I was watching metal slug clips on youtube and they were showing a new character and infinite lives, ammo, grenades and more im trying to find it
Summary: The revised version of Metal Slug 7 is to add the game to other game console formats. Metal Slug XX still presents the run and gun humor shown from its debut back in 1996, with the exception of new weapons, slugs, and abstract background and counter measures. The only criticism I give out is the campaign is super short, compare with any previous titles in the franchise.
Summary: It goes without saying that Metal Slug XX is by far one of the best entries in the series and for fans a must have game. Metal Slug XX is more or less a retooling of Metal Slug 7 which saw release on the DS a while back. Though the obvious difference in screen size and graphical power of the PSP make this the version to get. The PSP release removes many of the negative aspects of Metal Slug 7.
