Abysmal translation to the PSP

Summary: This game is terrible. This is coming from a big fan of the MGS series (you can read my glowing review of Snake Eater for instance). The camera and the controls are what do the most damage to this game. Without two analog sticks, controlling the camera without moving is almost impossible (and even if you take two hands or modify the controls to do just that it fights you the entire time making the effort wasted).
Summary: Some background about my past experiences with Metal Gear games are as follows, plus some other notes: - I am ONLY INTERESTED in single-player games/features only! So this review is based upon the single-player aspect of MGS:PO. - I returned the game prior to level 3 (after the communications tower level), because I couldn't stand the controls. So based on that... -I absolutely LOVED METAL GEAR SOLID for the PSX. It was challenging, but not overly crazy impossible.
Summary: ... what do you get when you transfer an uber-successful series on the PS2 to the PSP? A waste of time and money - honestly. Guys, I have all the MGS games (we all do) But we sit in our comfy chairs at home in front of our PS2's whilst we control Snake as he sneaks around dispatching enemies. Everything moves well, looks fantastic and feels amazing. I'm a big fan. This PSP iteration is boring and I made a major mistake buying it.
