The players learn more about returning characters such as Para-Medic, Major Zero and Sigint and witness Big Boss’ greatest tragedy, considering that one sets into motion the events of later games in the series’ timeline. A full-fledged single player mode set after the events of MGS3: Snake Eater, the game’s multiplayer modes let players take their custom squad online to do battle across new levels. They capture and recruit characters and train them to be part of their army to help Snake on his mission.
See lessSometime in the next few months you’re likely to see a curious looking fellow wandering aimlessly down a city street, holding a PSP up in the air as he furiously slaps buttons. Don’t worry; he’s just playing Portable Ops. The ability to gather new troops for your army in this latest Metal Gear game by tapping into local Wi-Fi hotspots is brilliant. Thankfully, the game behind the gimmick is also more than capable of wearing the legendary moniker with pride. It... Read more

It can take you a few days of continuous play just to complete the main single-player... Read more
Snake's back and returning into his old stealthy ways. Snake's first PSP outing follows the events of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and provides a missing link in the ongoing Metal Gear mythos. The year is 1970 and follows the dubiously-named Naked Snake as he sets up Foxhound. His aim? Take down the treacherous Fox unit which has started a nasty revolt in South America. Players will learn more about characters such as Para-Medic, Major Zero and Sigint, as well as... Read more

There was more emphasis on how it would play, because when most console games are scaled down to PSP size, control is usually the first component in question. Don't fret here, because as you can see from the score that I gave this game, it's all good. The game is set a few years after Metal Gear Solid:... Read more
