Fun game, but make sure you have right firmware for it

Summary: I recently got back into playing my psp, and I remembered this being a fun game. And more importantly, a CHALLENGING game. (very hard to find in these "dumb everything down" casual gaming days!) So I decided to buy it...but when I got it in the mail and went to play it, I discovered that it couldn't be played on the 3.9 m33-3 firmware I was running. You need at least 6.31 to play this.
Summary: If you enjoyed the first Mercury game, then you'll love Mercury Meltdown twice ! Also if you like puzzle genre and love to solve puzzles you will get engaged with this game. Mercury meltdown takes the formula from the original Mercury and improved the game play, add new elements, and created a new graphic engine based on cartoon like graphics!
Summary: I discovered this game long after its release. I had never played Mercury, so it was a new experience for me. And a great one! I highly recommend you pick up this title, which offers a lot of bang for the buck. The game is very difficult and taxes your patience at times. But it makes solving levels that much more rewarding. Some levels I still feel are impossible, but it keeps me coming back to keep trying.
great game, well executed, lots of levels, great fun!

Summary: A great puzzle game and a big improvement over the first "Mercury". Many great levels, minigames. Even the way the level selection works is nice: The levels are represented as little test tubes, when you finish a level the amount of mercury left is shown in the tube. If you manage to save all the mercury, a cork closes the tube. If you also get all the specials and make the high-score, the cork is golden...
Summary: Very good game, even if it is not new at all. I had the first one "Mercury" just as it came out and always like it many years after. This is a good puzzle/brain game as it is a very good alternative to usual games from time to time. Quite tricky though and needs loads of concentration sometimes. Excellent value for the price now.
Excerpt: Archer Maclean's Mercury really is a unique game that takes some of the old ideas of classic games and adds a nice 21st Century twist upon it. This game for me was kind of a revelation when I first played it; the point of the game is to get a blob of Mercury from one side of the board to the other with as much Mercury as possible. Simple I hear you say!!! No not really and that is the best part of the game by far.
