Fun game, but make sure you have right firmware for it

Summary: I recently got back into playing my psp, and I remembered this being a fun game. And more importantly, a CHALLENGING game. (very hard to find in these "dumb everything down" casual gaming days!) So I decided to buy it...but when I got it in the mail and went to play it, I discovered that it couldn't be played on the 3.9 m33-3 firmware I was running. You need at least 6.31 to play this.
Summary: I discovered this game long after its release. I had never played Mercury, so it was a new experience for me. And a great one! I highly recommend you pick up this title, which offers a lot of bang for the buck. The game is very difficult and taxes your patience at times. But it makes solving levels that much more rewarding. Some levels I still feel are impossible, but it keeps me coming back to keep trying.
Summary: If you enjoyed the first Mercury game, then you'll love Mercury Meltdown twice ! Also if you like puzzle genre and love to solve puzzles you will get engaged with this game. Mercury meltdown takes the formula from the original Mercury and improved the game play, add new elements, and created a new graphic engine based on cartoon like graphics!
great game, well executed, lots of levels, great fun!

Summary: A great puzzle game and a big improvement over the first "Mercury". Many great levels, minigames. Even the way the level selection works is nice: The levels are represented as little test tubes, when you finish a level the amount of mercury left is shown in the tube. If you manage to save all the mercury, a cork closes the tube. If you also get all the specials and make the high-score, the cork is golden...
Summary: Very good game, even if it is not new at all. I had the first one "Mercury" just as it came out and always like it many years after. This is a good puzzle/brain game as it is a very good alternative to usual games from time to time. Quite tricky though and needs loads of concentration sometimes. Excellent value for the price now.
Conclusion: I brought this game because my friend had it and it loked a lot of fun. It is! One of the many great things is that even once you have completed a level, there are other things to do on the same level. For example, get the highest score, find and collect all the bonuses, complete the level and much more! The game has lots of sections and lots of levels, I do not think that the levels get repetitive. The game is amazing! It is hours of fun! Definitely worth the money.
Conclusion: I like a good puzzle game and the PSP has several of these. I bought mercury meltdown as I played the original which I really enjoyed. Mercury is like a really advanced, more difficult and more enjoyable version of marble madness. The goal is simple, meet the objectives of getting your mercury blob to the end area. This can be time limit or percentage of mercury left limit or both. Sounds easy and at first it is, but the difficulty soon pushes you more and more.
Conclusion: This game is a really good, enjoyable game. At times this is tricky especially towards the later levels but it is really addictive. I didnt have this game out of my psp for weeks it is great to play if you only have 15 minutes to kill or even 5. One of the great challenges is attempting to complete the levels with 100% mercury remaining and there are still some levels I havent completed so if you like a challenge then this is it.
