Summary: The Good: Bigger and better than the first, updated visual style is refreshing, accurate liquid physics, controls are responsive and fluid, many levels and rewards to unlock The Bad: Some sort of USB tilt sensor would have been nice. There's something about rolling a blob of mercury around that just makes things so fun and refreshing, and that's exactly what Meltdown is.
Summary: I really like this game. The graphics are hypnotic and the animation looks incredible, and the graphics are also very sharp looking. The music for the original Mercury is bland and sounds like it's from a porno, but the techno beats from Meltdown are much better, memorable, and catchier. Archer Maclean's Mercury shows its prestige with its bastard-hard leaderboards and levels, although there are only 60 some, many of which go by very quickly.
Conclusion: This is a really fun game which does get chalenging after a while ,but who doesnt like the challenge? The drawback is that the levels are a bit sameish after lv 50 so it can get boring. A nice 4 star game.
Summary: For all of you who don't know, this is the follow up to Archer Macleans Mercury, which was available on the release date of the PSP. I was really excited when I found out they would be doing a follow up. The new version contains twice as many levels as the original along with the availability of upto 500 additional levels via download. One of the major changes is the graphics.
