OK for a while

Josh Bronson, Amazon
5 November 2007
  • Summary: Interesting concept, but not enough to hold my interest. Goes from very easy to very difficult very quickly. I found myself just trying to solve the puzzles sitting there in the time alloted to complete the puzzle. By the end, it was impossible, I would play the same level over 50 times before giving up. However, the game was worth picking up, something different and smart. There is some replay value. Buying used is probably worth it.

Hard Game

Overstock
18 April 2007
  • Summary: This game seems easy in the beginning while your in the training mode, but once your ready to start your actual play it gets crazy hard!. It takes a while to get used to maneuvering your mercury blob. All-in-all it can be a fun game once you get used to it. Shipping was fast and packaging was great.

  • Summary: This game has very poor graphics, would have been better on a spectrum or C64, not worth much money. Quite Poor.

Good but unnecessary redesign

  • Conclusion: One of the things I loved about Mercury was the mercury itself. It looked like mercury, which is still very impressive. This was one of the main reasons I wanted the original game. The fact that it looked real was critical for the games success, almost like you were balancing a blob of the stuff on your psp.

Drives me crazy!!!

fartingbird, Play.com

  • Conclusion: This game can be awesomely frustrating becase you have to have a certain % of mercury to complete the level and you need alot of patience and i don't have much patience. I think the game should be at least 7+ because i seriously lost my cool and really wanted to destroy my psp.

Mehr und anders ist auch nicht immer besser

Jürgen Mayer "Pyri", Amazon
6 April 2009
  • Summary: "Mercury Meltdown" ist das voluminöse Geschicklichkeits-Sequel zu Archer Maclean's Quecksilber-Knobelei zum Konsolen-Start 2005, diesmal komplett in bunter Cartoon-Optik gehalten.
