Summary: The Good: Bigger and better than the first, updated visual style is refreshing, accurate liquid physics, controls are responsive and fluid, many levels and rewards to unlock The Bad: Some sort of USB tilt sensor would have been nice. There's something about rolling a blob of mercury around that just makes things so fun and refreshing, and that's exactly what Meltdown is.
Summary: I discovered this game long after its release. I had never played Mercury, so it was a new experience for me. And a great one! I highly recommend you pick up this title, which offers a lot of bang for the buck. The game is very difficult and taxes your patience at times. But it makes solving levels that much more rewarding. Some levels I still feel are impossible, but it keeps me coming back to keep trying.
Summary: Interesting concept, but not enough to hold my interest. Goes from very easy to very difficult very quickly. I found myself just trying to solve the puzzles sitting there in the time alloted to complete the puzzle. By the end, it was impossible, I would play the same level over 50 times before giving up. However, the game was worth picking up, something different and smart. There is some replay value. Buying used is probably worth it.
Summary: If you enjoyed the first Mercury game, then you'll love Mercury Meltdown twice ! Also if you like puzzle genre and love to solve puzzles you will get engaged with this game. Mercury meltdown takes the formula from the original Mercury and improved the game play, add new elements, and created a new graphic engine based on cartoon like graphics!
great game, well executed, lots of levels, great fun!

Summary: A great puzzle game and a big improvement over the first "Mercury". Many great levels, minigames. Even the way the level selection works is nice: The levels are represented as little test tubes, when you finish a level the amount of mercury left is shown in the tube. If you manage to save all the mercury, a cork closes the tube. If you also get all the specials and make the high-score, the cork is golden...
Summary: This game seems easy in the beginning while your in the training mode, but once your ready to start your actual play it gets crazy hard!. It takes a while to get used to maneuvering your mercury blob. All-in-all it can be a fun game once you get used to it. Shipping was fast and packaging was great.
Summary: I really like this game. The graphics are hypnotic and the animation looks incredible, and the graphics are also very sharp looking. The music for the original Mercury is bland and sounds like it's from a porno, but the techno beats from Meltdown are much better, memorable, and catchier. Archer Maclean's Mercury shows its prestige with its bastard-hard leaderboards and levels, although there are only 60 some, many of which go by very quickly.
