Summary: If you liked the first MUA for PSP, stick with that one. This version is a downgrade. The frame rate is terrible to the point where you can't tell what's usually going on. The graphics have stayed the same, which usually don't see from a sequel. Also, I don't understand why they would use the Civil War story line if they weren't going to follow it completely. The changes they made make the story terrible.
A Complete Step Back From the First Ultimate Alliance
23 October 2009
Summary: If you played and loved the first Ultimate Alliance on the PSP, don't waste your time with this game. It seems that when they made the PSP version of this game, they took all of the good aspects of the series and stripped them away. It's like you are playing a demo of a just announced game that still is in the works and therefore still needs a lot of work put into it. I will explain what I mean point by point.
Summary: I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this game. I bought the first MUA for the PSP and absolutely loved it. Being a total Marvel nut MUA totally fulfilled all my fan boy fantasies and it was an absolute pleasure to play. MUA2 is a totally different beast. The gameplay is sluggish and furthermore it actually stops at times to load. Despite the PSP's limitations this is poor form. The graphics are horrendous perhaps worse than some ps1 games.
