would have been better with less load time
9 February 2011
Summary: I enjoyed most of the game. The biggest problem I had was the load time. The length of the load time and the frequency of the load times were annoying. Each time you walked into a room there was a load time then when you talked to the one person there and had to leave....another load time. The game is easy to play and maneuver around in. The graphics are cute and look like anime.
Summary: This game runs SUPER SLOW!!!!!! I can't blame it on the seller. I just think it was a waste of money. The load screens take forever, and the gameplay is also slowed down unlike the mana khemia on ps2
Summary: A review by a son This is a good game, but it is severely hampered (in my opinion) by the 'horrific' music, don't get me wrong, its not all bad, there is some good music in the game but when the music is bad it makes you want to rip out your ears (especially after about an hour of listening to it), so you ask why I didn't give it one star, to be honest I was going to but then I remembered what is good about this game.
Summary: The first thing one should know concerning this game is that it's a re-edition of a recent PS2 game. As such, despite the seemingly PSX-level graphics, the PSP's processor isn't quite enough for it to run perfectly smoothly. As a result, there are lengthy loading phases that may cause the game to freeze up for seconds at a time, sometimes during critical button-pushing phases which can be annoying.
Summary: Having played Atelier Iris 1,2 and 3 on PS2, I couldn't wait for Mana Khemia: Student alliance on PSP developed by the same company, GUST. However, now I have played the PSP version, I would urge players interested in the series to buy Mana Khemia on the PS2 which is apparently the same as the PSP version. The game basically sees you as a young alchemist who has enrolled at Al-revis, a school for up and coming alchemists.
