Summary: I played this game on the PS2 and when I saw they were porting it to the PSP I was excited. I recieved the game and dug in, hoping to score all A's on my classes. The game is an exact port which is great. I love the syntesis and class schedule along with the story line of each of the characters. I am however very disappointed about the load times and the way the game freezes, and 'hick ups' as you play.
Excerpt: Mana Khemia: Student Alliance is a port of the PS2 game 'Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis'. It tells the tale of Vayne as he goes through the Al-Revis academy. There is more plot than this obviously and that's the intrigue of the game. The game is split into two sections: field and battle. In the field, you attend classes (where you are given tasks such as Kill X or collect Y) and can do sidequests to gain items or money.
Pros: Underlying game is good but . . .
Cons: Slowdown, fuzzy graphics, slowdown, slowdown makes it unplayable
