My son loves it

Summary: I bought this game for my 12 year old son. He said it was his favorite one from Christmas. I like that it's a non-violent game that will help him with hand eye coordination and possibly even assist him in learning the rules of the game.
Summary: My sister got this for me and im glad she did.It has some fun gameplay but the pitching is so easy but the batting is way too hard. The sound is okay, but the anounncers call a play along time after it was finished. The graphics are bad but i can understand because of the psp limitations.overall it is a great game and it is only $5.00.
Summary: Major League Baseball 2k9 is one of the greatest games for psp of all time. The graphics are amazing. When you are pitching you can see the fans in the backround jumping up and down and doing stuff the normal person would do. A fun feature of mlb 2k9 is the create-a-player thing. There are many different combinations in which your created player can have. You get to pick a stance, throwing style and the good part is that you don't have limited attributes!
Summary: I rented this from Gamefly and spent a couple weeks with it. I didn't even bother with the normal gameplay of single and season games, as I had no interest in that feature. The "Career" mode in MLB The Show has me spoiled for normal gameplay and I just cannot get into playing every single player on the field. What I did find interesting and engaging was the GM and managerial modes in this game.
Summary: Major League Baseball 2k9 for the PSP is the worst baseball game of all time. The graphics are terrible, the batting controls are worse than anything you could imagine, and worse yet, the players move and look like robots from a horror movie. In an exhibition game I played, the announcers were talking about how my team was shut out just after ONE pitch. That just put the icing on an already terrible game. MLB 2k9 couldn't even get the commentary right.
Summary: If you played this game last year, this one is the same except with new rosters and a new cover athlete. 2K didn't do anything to improve this game from last year, it's just as crappy. The graphics are a step below 'The Show' but the presentation is actually decent. Some of the replays are nice to look at, but all these things can't hide the crappy gameplay.
